The most excitement we've had this holiday season was finding out there's going to be an addition to our family! Baby Bean Bramlett (as I affectionately refer to him/her) is 11 weeks and should be greeting the world at the end of July. We can't wait to meet the one God is forming inside my body! We know he/she will be created in HIS image, so no matter the sex or if the hair is curly or straight, our baby will be beautiful! In about 8 more weeks we'll be able to find out if it's a boy or girl...definitely looking forward to that day! As far as how mama's feeling, I keep reminding myself it could be a lot worse! I have been nauseated, but no where near the point some of my other friends were. I eat every 2-3 hours and that helps a lot. Our next doctor's appointment is this Monday at 8:30 am, so I'm sure I'll have an exciting update to post afterwards. For now, though, I think I'll leave you with a few verses from one of my favorite Psalms (this Psalm has come to mean even more to me since I found out I was pregnant), Psalm 139.
Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out;
you formed me in my mother's womb.
I thank you, High God—you're breathtaking!
Body and soul, I am marvelously made!
I worship in adoration—what a creation!
You know me inside and out,
you know every bone in my body;
You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit,
how I was sculpted from nothing into something.
Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth;
all the stages of my life were spread out before you,
The days of my life all prepared before I'd even lived one day.
Psalm 139:13-16 (Message)
Yay! I'm so excited you guys have a blog! It's the perfect place to post sonogram pictures, since apparently some people seem to be terribly offended by those type pictures on facebook. :-) Who knew?
ReplyDeleteLet's just hope that Bean gets his dad's dance moves.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Ryan...I'm not sure it's possible to recreate the movements that come out of my husband's body! lol!
